Alivia’s Moana Birthday Party

Alivia wanted a Moana birthday party theme for her 9th birthday. I am sure you know what Moana is. Just in case that you don’t, it is a Disney’s animated feature that came out in 2016. It was, by all means, a great movie with great graphic, voice cast, story, and music that centered around the Polynesian mythology that set place in Hawaii. It was a great and fun movie was kids and adult of all ages.

Alivia parents wanted to give her a Moana birthday party theme that she deserves. A lot of thoughts and planning went into creating the right props, foods, and beverages that highlight the Moana theme. It wasn’t so much of a luau theme since we wanted to draw more elements from the movies. Her mom did a great job planning the color theme and character design to make her Moana birthday party even more special. I believe the most important things in having a great kid’s birthday party are to keep the kids entertained and feed the parents.

She was definitely ecstatic that many of her friends and family (some traveled from out of town) were able to attend.

I can’t believe that she’s 9 already. Oh my how the time has passed. It seems that not so long ago I was babysitting her, changing her, and cooking for her.
